Please note that we are a home-based micro bakery. I only make a limited amount of cakes per week and we are booked pretty quickly. Assembly of all WhiskPastryNYC products takes multiple days to complete. Please allot at least a minimum 2 weeks - 1 month notice for cakes.

An additional 20% rush fee will be applied to your invoice for orders placed less than 2 weeks in advance.

Placing your order:

• Fill in details for our Custom Cake Order Form. We will get back to you via email, and confirm your event date plus additional details

• We will then confirm a day to set up a design consultation (email, virtual calls or in person meetings can be discussed)

Reservation:

To reserve your date, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required up front after preliminary consultations. An inquiry does not guarantee a booking until a deposit has been made.

Remaining 50% of the balance has to be fully paid the week of pick-up and we can also confirm and finalize any additional details needed.

Local pick-up in Sunnyside, Queens in most preferred at no extra cost.

Delivery

We can arrange a delivery service and discuss prices based on distance from our studio in Sunnyside, Queens

Design Guide

WhiskPastryNYC specializes in creating custom cakes as unique as you are! We use Swiss Meringue Buttercream for most of our cakes, offering a range of designs from sleek and modern to beautifully floral and whimsical. Have a specific vision in mind? We welcome your design requests and will work with you to bring them to life. Due to copyright laws, we can't exactly replicate cakes from other artists, but we can create something equally stunning and original.

Each custom cake is crafted with the finest ingredients, and pricing reflects the intricate details of its design. Sugar flowers, edible gold, and other handcrafted embellishments are priced based on the cost of materials and the artistry involved.

We can accommodate special requests for flavors, but here are a few of our favorites:

Cake Tasting

In-person cake tastings are available at a cost of $80. This fee will be deducted from the final price of your cake order if you decide to have us create your dream cake provided the total cost exceeds $600.

Every month, we will also be offering cake tasting boxes. Details will posted on our socials

Rescheduling & Order Changes

We understand that plans can change! If you need to adjust your date or order details after confirmation, please contact us immediately. We will do our heart’s best to accommodate your request; however, changes are subject to availability and may incur a rescheduling fee to cover logistical adjustments.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Creating a custom cake is a multi-day process that includes sourcing premium ingredients, structural planning, and dedicated design time. Because we reserve your date exclusively and often turn down other commissions to do so, the following refund schedule applies:

• 14+ Days Before Event: Full refund of payments made, minus the 50% non-refundable booking fee (which covers administrative costs and initial design consultation).

• 7–13 Days Before Event: 50% of the total order value will be refunded. At this stage, specialized ingredients have been sourced and production schedules are locked in.

• Less than 7 Days Before Event: No refunds or credits can be issued. By this time, your bespoke creation is already in production—including baking, filling, and structural handiwork.
